We are an institute whose purpose is to promote sustainable tourism, conservation, and interpretation of the geological, Natural, and cultural heritage through geopark, geoproducts and etc. Our goal is to be a useful part of the economy and community by researching, consulting, and running projects related to sustainable tourism, geotourism, and geopark to foster sustainable socio-economic development and promote its heritage.
Studying tourism and geotourism potentials, geosites assessment, potential studies in the purposed geopark.
Local community engagement and products consultation, designing packaging and new products, application dossier preparation, and development planning.
Holding geopark and geotourism training workshops for the local community, local authorities, and students.
Designing promotional products, sites, and museum interpretation boards, posters, and panels.

She holds a B.S on Tourism Management and a M.S on Geography and Tourism Planning, University of Tehran. She started her job as tourism consultant in geoheritage and geotourism department, geological survey of Iran and continued as local community engagement and GeoProduct consultant in Qeshm Island UGGp, Aras aUGGp and Tabas aUGGp. She is the member of IGCP Project: GEOfood for sustainable development in UGGps Steering Committee, Qeshm Island UGGp Scientific Committee and International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG).

The Organizing Committee have rapidly set up OxGVC in response to the cancellation of a number of meetings in 2020 due to COVID-19. Recognizing the often dispersed nature of workers within geoheritage, and therefore the vital role meetings play, we hope OxGVC can help to bring together the geoheritage community, wherever you may be, at this difficult time.

In this workshop seven educational panels was provided with the content of the methods of protecting the UNESCO Global Geoparks from two national geoparks of Aras, Tabas, and Qeshm UGGp to young people interested and active in this field.
Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark hosted the First International Meeting and Workshop on UNESCO Global Geoparks. The event was attended by senior officials from the Department of Environment, Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, and the Industries Ministry among other relevant entities.
This conference was held in English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, Torbay, England, with participants from all geoparks around the world. International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks will be held every two year.
